"Best two days I have ever done"

As a qualified physiotherapist for over 30 years I have attended many many courses. Including communication, CBT, counselling, breaking bad news. All gave me something to take back to my practice. However the advanced communication course I completed thanks to Spire healthcare at spire Manchester hospital was the best two days I have ever done. Not many people likes a role play but between Lynn and our superb actress it was like nothing I’d experienced before. It’s ok not to be a ‘fixer’ silence isn’t awkward but nessesary. The way in which bad news is delivered can make such a tremendous difference to both the recipient and the professional. I cannot recommend the advanced communication course enough. Every professional should do it!
